We’re excited to share that Hydra, our hybrid control unit that connects air source heat pumps (ASHP) with existing gas combi boilers, is shortlisted for Domestic Heating Product of the Year at the prestigious H&V News Awards 2024.

Since its launch, Hydra is enabling a smooth transition to renewable energy for homeowners by allowing their new air source heat pump and existing combination boiler to work in unison, without drastic retrofit.

Our CEO, Stuart Gizzi, said: “Being shortlisted for this award is a huge honour and speaks to the hard work that’s gone into creating a product that supports both homeowners and the planet. We’re committed to developing innovative, sustainable heating solutions, and Hydra is a prime example of that.”

The Domestic Heating Product of the Year category celebrates forward-thinking products that reduce energy costs, lower emissions, and deliver real value to homeowners by addressing everyday heating challenges.

This isn’t our first brush with the H&V News Awards—last year, we were proud to be shortlisted for Inta Zero in the same category, reaffirming our commitment to delivering innovative, energy-saving products for the domestic heating market.

We’re looking forward to the awards ceremony on 28th November 2024 and are keeping our fingers crossed.

Russia-Ukraine Statement

The condemnation and imposition of sanctions on Russia and Belarus in response to Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine will have enormous implications and an impact on global trade, particularly on commodities, for years to come. The effect of the war on the building material supply in the UK is still to be determined. However, the region including Russia, Ukraine and Belarus accounted for only 1.25% of building products imported into the UK last year.

Intatec Limited is committed to ensuring that products which we supply are not manufactured using any material sourced in Russia or Belarus.
